Sri Rajagopalan, PhD, MP (ASCP)

Dr. Rajagopalan obtained his PhD in applied biology from Tata Memorial Cancer Center of Bombay University, India. He completed his post doctoral training in molecular biology at Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri) and at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Applied Diagnostics, Dr. Rajagopalan served as assistant professor of pathology at Baylor College of Medicine and established the molecular diagnostics laboratory at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Rajagopalan has published several papers in the areas of genes and cancer in highly respected scientific journals, such as Nature and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), and has lectured at several national meetings. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and teaches molecular genetics technology.
