Dr. Arbab attended Baylor College of Medicine where she completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and fellowships in cytopathology and surgical pathology. In addition to her accomplishments in the area of pathology, Dr. Arbab is a highly accomplished scholar with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Claude Bernard in Lyon, France, a clinical fellowship in reproductive endocrinology in Lyon, France, and a residency in OB/GYN from the University of Shaheed Behesti in Tehran, Iran.
Dr. Arbab has been published in both Europe and the U.S. and her papers include work in the areas of reproductive endocrinology, urodynamic studies and immunohistochemistry. Her work has been presented at, among others, the Congress of Fertility and Sterility in Montpellier, France; the European Urological Winter Forum in Paris, France; the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology in Belgium, and the Annual Meeting of ASCP/CAP in Washington, DC.
